International Studies
Terrific assessment work is occurring in International Studies. The program’s 2016 assessment report details efforts to develop rubrics for scoring student performance in career development workshops that specifically target one of the program’s learning outcomes. The report concludes by identifying areas for improvement based on student scores on the rubrics. Data-driven decision making!

Mathematics
In the midst of all the challenges presented by EO1110, faculty in the Department of Mathematics submitted a thorough, engaging five-year self-study this spring. The report details high-impact practices put in place in an attempt to improve student success and close achievement gaps, including workshops that have been shown to close gaps at other universities.
